Luc Brousseau, MBA
founding President
Since 1992, Mr. Brousseau has held several management positions in the retail industry, including a period from 1995 to 2000 when he was in charge of customer service and development at St-Hubert Bar-B-Q Ltd. He planned and implemented the “turnaround” in the quality of service and developed the St-Hubert Express concept.
Holding two masters degrees in Business Administration (Montreal and Paris), he has implemented and managed a substantial number of quality of service improvement programs. In 2002, he founded Lanla Marketing Research, a consulting firm specializing in the management of quality of service evaluation and training programs. Now recognized as a specialist in the field of customer satisfaction evaluation and management, he is often called upon to lead conferences. Moreover, he has also taught courses, on occasion, within the fields of Marketing and Statistics, at the University of Ottawa and at the UQÀM.

Christian Watier, Ph.D.
Vice-President, Research
Mr. Watier holds a Doctorate from Université Laval, a Post-Doctorate in Experimental Psychology from Carleton University, and has authored numerous scientific publications. He has a strong academic background and impressive experience in the fields of quantitative and qualitative analytical methods, research, psychometrics, cognitive psychology, and perception.
Since 1997, Mr. Watier has taught over 30 university courses. He has mainly taught advanced statistics, research methods, and psychometrics courses at various Canadian universities (Laval, UQÀM, UQO, and Ottawa), at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In his capacity of evaluation program specialist, Mr. Watier has developed an extensive expertise ranging from understanding the needs of a target clientele to establishing frameworks required for evaluation, along with the identification and operationalization of company initiatives, and the creation of effective measurement tools to reach these goals.

Stéphane Mesnier, MBA
Director, Operations
Always seeking to expand his skills and versatility, Mr. Mesnier has completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a DESS in Employment and Social Development Policies for Organizations. His academic training combined with his professional experience has enabled him to develop a systems approach to companies, as well as the capacity to be highly adaptable. Since 1998, he has worked as a trainer, a coach, and a consultant for companies in both the private, as well as the public sector, in France and in Quebec.
In his capacity of Director of Operations, Mr. Mesnier develops the plans, procedures, and objectives used in the management of Lanla’s measurement programs. With the company since 2005, he manages the entire staff, including the team of project managers, the call center team, and the quality control team. Endowed with a well-organized and structured thought process, Mr. Mesnier regularly fine-tunes the data collection management processes and exercises operational control in a consistent manner in order to ensure the uniformity and optimal quality of Lanla’s research work.

Pierre Cousineau, B.Sc.
Director, Training
Since 2008, Lanla’s team of trainers has been under the direction of Mr. Pierre Cousineau. For the last 30 years, Mr. Cousineau has acted in the capacity of consultant, trainer, lecturer, and training program developer for a host of organizations in the public and private sectors located primarily in Quebec, but also in other parts of Canada, in France, and in England. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Andragogy and has also completed a long list of trainings on conflict management, strategic planning, learning styles, “Mind Mapping”, reflective practice, systems approach, how to communicate change, and multiculturalism. In 1995, he founded and presided over Actif Formation inc. which was Quebec’s leader in experiential training for some 10 years.
