Lanla Partners with IVADO
Mont-Saint-Hilaire, November 8, 2018 – Lanla, Quebec leader in supporting businesses in the measurement and management of the customer experience, becomes a member of the Institute for Data Valorization (IVADO), whose aim is to bring together industry professionals and academic researchers to develop cutting-edge expertise in data science, operational research and artificial intelligence.

This partnership is part of a process of innovation in artificial intelligence focused on customer experience management, particularly in the retail sector, with the following objectives and challenges:
- To provide IVADO-affiliated students with a corporate experimentation environment to put into practice their academic learning related to data science and deep learning.
- Operate, through deep learning, unstructured databases that exceed human capacities of analysis and synthesis while correctly interpreting the nuances, tones and other linguistic irregularities (irony, text language, expressions, etc.)
- Systematize Lanla’s 15 years expertise to generate, thanks to artificial intelligence, in-depth strategic and operational recommendations to enable companies to differentiate themselves by offering a superior customer experience in their respective markets.

With over 1 000 member researchers, IVADO is a multidisciplinary centre of advanced expertise in statistics, artificial intelligence and operations research.
IVADO’s mission is to 1) contribute to the development of an economic sector in big data processing for decision making; 2) create privileged partnerships between industry and the administrative, social and academic sectors; 3) contribute to the advancement of knowledge and train new generations of data scientists; and 4) foster exchange and knowledge sharing between experts, partners, researchers and students.
IVADO provides a framework for six research centres: Canada Excellence Research Chair in Data Science for Real-Time Decision Making, CIRRELT, CRM, GERAD, MILA and Tech3Lab.
