The four pillars of employee experience success

What are the 4 pillars of employee experience success?

Considering the immediacy of information since the advent of the Internet, employees nowadays have higher and higher expectations for their work environment. However, a number of businesses have been slow at setting up systems for gathering feedback from their employees so they can improve their experience. Improving employee experience will have significant impacts on employee retention, productivity and level of commitment. So, how do you create a successful approach to employee experience management?

  1. Executive alignment: Building an employee experience culture starts with the commitment of the existing leadership and management. Nevertheless, executives need to view employees as important stakeholders in the process.
  2. Experience feedback systems: Creating a culture of transparency is essential for establishing trust, to build confidence and help every employee gain a good understanding of their role. One way to do that is by setting up a continuous feedback system within the organization. Every employee should have some view of employee experience results, even if it’s just a summary.
  3. Engagement and accountability: It is important to give management the tools they need to empower them to understand the feedback and act on it; for example, by equipping leadership and management with the tools they need to visualize and analyze data and build action plans.
  4. Expansion and scale: An effective employee experience program is one that is flexible and scalable, along with allowing you to continually test and innovate. They adapt easily and focus on continuous and sustained improvement of the experience.
